It can be both little and big things which make it all worthwhile. Or nicer. Maybe only slightly nicer for a moment. Still nicer than things would have been without the nice things. Which is nice. If the things are there. Which a lot of them are.

I get an entire day of them tomorrow without any of this tiresome employment nonsense restricting my exposure to them. HAPHAPHAP.

Although it's just become ever so slightly less irksome as WE NO LONGER HAVE TO WEAR SODDING TIES. Now the inevitable chain of events is set in motion: by saying that ties do not have to be worn in the summer because the office can become uncomfortably warm they can't make me wear one in the winter when the office is still unfomfortably warm to anyone with a metabolism and basic endothermicity. People wearing shirts without ties will look silly which will lead to a pronouncement that shirts need not be worn. Normal upperwear (excluding these weird people who wear polo shirts for fun) with stupid employment-trousers will look stupid which will eventually lead to further dress code relaxations and the eventual option to dress normally and feel comfortable all day, every day.

In an ideal world.

Still, tomorrow is a day of shorts, walking, coffee, pictures of unsuspecting people and things. I might even take more pictures of a particular thing which has been not coming out quite right for a good couple of weeks now; maybe the right time of day will make the difference.
