This is an ex Post Office

It has ceased to be. It has run up the curtain and joined the choir invisible etc etc. My blip shows what used to be Shandon Post Office on Slateford Road. Closed by The Post Office in approximately 2010 in swinging cuts. Over 200 branches were closed across Scotland, in spite of protests. The former Shandon branch retains its green trim and a sticker advertising Giro Bank near the door, plus the still in use red pillar box. Now it's used as storage by a Chinese restaurant/takeaway.
