Day Moon

Other people take beautiful shots of the moon at night, but I have to be different and try and take it in the morning:-) It was a very cold and frosty start to the day and the moon was just hanging in the tree, as I tried to zoom in on it. The close-ups were no good, as the camera was hand-held and the pictures were being shot through the window, so this was the best of a poor bunch. I'll keep trying!

Spent the afternoon in Perth as my husband's car had to go in for various checks. It ended up needing two new tyres at an eye-watering total, but they're the first replacements in six and a half years, so we can't complain too much. However, it also needs new handbrake cables (at an even more eye-watering cost!), so these have been ordered. Not really what you want just before Christmas:-(
