Fall (in more ways than one!)

It was a glorious autumn morning today as I drove down to Portsmouth. The light was crisp and bright, the sky a brilliant blue, the red kites soaring above the fields and towards the end the seagulls flying in large groups. The only downside was that the sun was shinning off the road for most of the way.
I had gone to visit Conventboy1 as last night he had taken a tumble on his bike. Luckily he wasn't hurt more but he was taken to hospital in an ambulance where he had 6 stitches to his chin. He also had loss of vision so they checked him out and sent him home under the care of his housemate. Today he was feeling very sore and a little groggy but OK by the time I left.
It just goes to show that even at 2o yrs old a cuddle from your mum can work wonders!
