Little boxes

That Pete Seeger song came on the radio this evening. It was pertinent to today's goings on in that B had an observed lesson. The education system is so rigid and bullshitty. I think I'm a pretty good judge of spotting creativity and I would say that creativity counts for nothing in education. You've just got to tick those bloody boxes and if that means churning out automatons so be it. Actually, it's not about producing automatons - because you can't. It's more about leveling everyone up or down to a sort of bland mediocrity; Which, thankfully, is equally as difficult.
Now I think I'm supposed to say something about my rant being over, but I'm afraid it's an ongoing thing.
