Whooper

We have a single Whooper Swan staying with us.

It has been with us for several weeks and although it seems healthy enough - seen eating, walking and quickly paddling around when required I do wonder how it's going to do if it stays here on its own through the winter. I wonder where it's family are and if it can fly, I assume so but have never seen it fly. It's nice to see it but in some ways I wish it would fly off and find some friends.
