Maple Leaves

A bit battered by the winds. Arranged them on some greaseproof paper to get the high key look.

We enjoyed breakfast out this morning which was rather nice, and we intended to go for a walk across the bay, however the cool southerly wind came up and put an end to that. Did some supermarket shopping then home. Its been a bit drizzly and much colder; we need a good rain desperately, every thing is burning off quickly.

We are flying to Wellington at 6.50 in the morning, just for the weekend. Doug's sister & husband are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary - an event not to be missed. Come home Monday morning. I seem to be continuously packing or unpacking cases since the beginning of October. This is the sixth time we've been away since then.

Must carry on, we have the travellers other half coming for dinner tonight.
