The Grand Canal

I bought this painting which is on canvas, from the artist himself, who had a number of pictures displayed on the quayside in Venice, he was completing another at the time. I brought it back rolled up and had it framed...it hangs in our lounge now. This was about 25 years ago. I bought it because I liked his representation, which I found quite magical...it cost me less than 10 UK pounds. it's unsigned and I often wonder if the young chap ever did become well known.
