Pinus Erectus

In Memorium... My college biology professor, friend, and who lived in awe of the miracle of nature, has died...this image is a tribute to his love of nature and his hilarious sense of humor...as we often had our classes out somewhere on the huge University domain located on the Cumberland Plateau, he would of course identify things by their Latin genus and species...his favorite joke was to name the pine trees...pinus erectus...never looked at one the same way again. Cheers to you, dear Harry!! Grateful that we shared a path even briefly.
