Mum at Cafe Lyon

Of course Mum will think this rather strange, but hopefully not too dreadful, but in the interest of keeping a journal this is how today was spent.

Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer last week, after being free of it since 1997 when she was first diagnosed. It's been a bit of a shock, but we did have some good news today but will have to wait till Monday to find out in better detail. All in all, it doesn't look as bad as first we feared so fingers crossed.

Mark took we three out to lunch at Cafe Lyon - thank you Mark - was delicious!

In other news, the eldest, Alex, is off to her graduation ball this evening.
