Kestrel catching the evening sun

Just went out for a quick walk on Wimbledon Common. Through the underpass from Putney heath and have to scramble for the camera as a Kestrel hovers overhead. Of course, I only have the 105mm lens on and the settings are all wrong. So it was a case of click, twiddle, click twiddle until the picture started to look right. I really must remember to standardise my settings after I have finished with it.

Anyway, nice view of a 'Windhover' doing just that over the grass
