Grasmere and weir

Spent a great day at Grasmere - wonderful autumn colours, good reflections, and pretty cold temperatures. Had to scramble down a sloping retaining wall and perch on the end of it to get the right angle on the weir and the lake behind.

A polarising filter brought out the textures in the water and a 0.9 soft-edged grad, plus a 0.75 hard edged grad were needed to control the brightness of the lake and sky.
