Chelicerata

Another Friday zoology lab blip! Today we looked at several classes of Arthropods: Crustacea (crabs, lobsters, and shrimp), Hexapoda (insects and allies), Myriapoda (centipedes and millipedes), and Chelicerata (spiders, scorpions, ticks, and mites). All manner of creepy crawly things! There were a few live demonstrations (tarantulas!) and lots of preserved specimens, including these scorpions.
