Breaking Barriers

Chuck Yeager first to break the sound barrier,Roger Bannister first to break the 4 minute mile and today carving 10 seconds off her Personal best time 10:09 set at the New Zealand Track and field championships in March this year earning bronze in the Youth Women U18 3000m. Today Millie broke her own barrier by running the 3000m at an inter club meet in 9:59, 10 seconds faster than her PB,2 weeks ago Millie ran a 3000 and did it in her 10:09 PB time and said it was crappy run, well today Elly Millie's older sister said Millie showed her teeth ,not in a bad way when she crossed the finish line, there was a brief smile. Millie had her lap times written on her hand and stuck to our plan, start out conservatively for the 1st 1k and progressively get faster for every other k, Millie's last 400m was in 77 seconds very quick. This is the middle bunch and Millie quickly picked them off 1 at a time
