Another fine day

This week we have been blessed with cold frosty sunny weather. A good time to go walking around the farm. The corn and new grass leys are coming up but the mud is at its worst now and the cattle will be inside until next spring when the grass has begun to grow again and the ground is dry.

Made Cranks cauliflower soup for lunch which was not that popular! It has a delicate flavour with grated nutmeg. T said it was a cross between a soup and a rice pudding! Will have to improve the flavour if we are to finish it tomorrow!
