Glossop Market

Glossop has the enviable statistic of its high street having no empty shops.
I'd been told this by someone and it's something of an oddity as noone seems to know why they are bucking the trend.
We had a brief stop off here before tonights design awards and a night staying in Mottram with Janets mum.
I like Glossop it is in the middle of nowhere and slightly out on a limb so its great to see it doing so well.
The indoor market is a good one with a fine selection of barm cakes and oven bottoms which are very Lancashire even though its in Derbyshire.
