Chasewater Mist

Wonderful early morning conditions, fog, mist and diffuse sunlight. Met a fellow photographer trying to capture an image of a great northern diver? that has been seen on the reservoir. While I was hoping the mist would stay around, he wanted it to clear.

The news on Blue is not great, he continues to lose weight and while he does not seem to be in pain, he is definitely not his normal self. The vet mentioned more tests but we've decided to give hime a few days of normality. Just a suspicion that all of the upheaval of the last two weeks has knocked him about too much. We are giving him some TLC, trying to feed him up and see how things go. A gamble perhaps but this afternoon he has been with us, even spending time on laps, which has been very rare recently.

This is a focus stack to keep both the foreground and background sharp.
