The River Axe at Sunset

Lovely sunny day, worked in the garden this morning, clearing pots and containers of the dying summer flowers (dislike this job immensely but like the cathartic effect of clearing). Then a trip to the supermarket was distinctly improved by this view as I crossed the River Axe. Home to watch Doctor Who with the (grown up) kids (apart from middle child who is taking his girlfriend to see it 3D at the cinema!!) (what is the world coming to ....) settling on the sofa whilst Mr H prepares supper (after ironing all afternoon - what a catch !).
