Langholm

An early start today - at the office for 7.30am for the trip to Langholm in Dumfries & Galloway in the gold transporter A-team van. Gorgeous frosty day along the A7. Trip to the Buccleuch Centre for interesting discussions and the best shortbread ever (and unexpectedly poignant reminisces).

As Mr F has already got a better shot of the Centre than I did, I'm going with CHOCOLATE SHOES. One of the lovely attendees today, Ruth (a comedian, writer, singer), mentioned that her parents had a specialist chocolate shop on the high street - Abbotts Chocolates. So we investigated. And we purchased. I think "Abbotts Coal" is my favourite thing - honeycomb, chocolate, sherbert. It's brilliant. And there were CHOCOLATE SHOES. Which is also brilliant. (size 2-3 - they'd fit me....)

And then there was Doctor Who - also, also brilliant. And now there is sleep.
