Colourful footpath

We went back to the nature park that we visited yesterday and spent some time watching the birds from the hides scattered around the lakes. We had three near blips (1) a swan skimming over the lake very near to us, (2) a heron overhead and (3) a green woodpecker flying alongside us. All three were near but too quick for us! We took quite a few pictures but at the end of a very drizzly and grey day we settled for the bright coloured leaves on the footpath because they will decay soon and we will go back again to see the birds.
