Meteor

Had a superb weekend at friends near Southend. Beautiful weather and a great walk to Hadleigh castle in the day time on Saturday and an adventurous night.

Some people asked how it's done. I did a search on wire wool, whisk and blow torch after being inspired by a few people on Blip that have some amazing fire creations. (Mr John & Lucc were just a couple of them.)

This is one of the useful websites we used.

It was the first time we'd tried it and it's not that hard but the results are dramatic - Fire Man Ash was far better than me at walking in a near perfect circle in the dark so he had the task of creating the design (& facing the danger! We did conduct a brief Risk Assessment!).

I will leave you with a one sentence warning from the article:

Outside bits come off as flaming burning molten steel meteors.

This meteor was shaken out of the whisk this morning but I'm sure there will be pieces strewn across the garden!
