Today I learnt, if your dog scares a small child by running up to them to say hello in the park; their Dad is likely to have a go at you. What you shouldn't do in this circumstance, is when the Dad keeps droning on after you've apologised, don't take the piss out of the child for having ginger hair.

It didn't help matters :-)
