chilly at the beach

a super-exciting trip to ikea this morning (i was shamed into it after struggling to find enough chairs/plates/bowls/cutlery - and that was including all the broken/chipped/cracked/plastic ones - for our friends' visit yesterday), and since the plan is for christmas at ours, it needed to be done anyway.

pm we went down to the beach. g was meant to go surfing but luckily his wetsuit fell to bits so we weren't there too long, and thank god cos it was bloomin' freezin'!!
