The calm before the storm ….

A day of kittens and butterflies - concert day ..

The afternoon rehearsal went pretty well ..

And - hoorah - so did the concert.

I was pleased with my concerto though to be honest I think I was sooo relieved when it was over, I relaxed too much in the interval, so wasn't too brilliant at my challenging rank and file stuff in the second half - a lesson to be learned!

Afterwards quite a few of us had a rather lovely relax in the too noisy pub (why to pubs feel the need to play horrible loud music? They turned it down a bit when asked, but 'off' would have been preferable)

A relief to have performed my concerto - but can I play the second half again please?
