More Derwentwater

The weather was still fine but the cloud was lower today so we decided not to walk up high. From Keswick, we headed off up Walla Crag. We had fine views over towards Skiddaw, Derwentwater, Whinlatter Forest and even Bassenthwaite in the distance.

As we came off the hillside and into the woods we were delighted with the presence of a red squirrel! It was charming.

Back to Keswick via the right side of Derwentwater where I took this shot.

For me, these last few days have been about beautiful, subdued light.
