A late Autumn walk

We took our usual walk through the forest today. There have been so many wonderful blue sky days recently but this was not one of them. It didn't really matter as the trees were so bright in their autumn colours that it felt at times, as though the sun were shining.
This shot is taken on the crest of one of the more challenging horserides. In the bottom right corner you can just spot Zeus standing in front of an ancient beech, one of the grand old guardians of Epping forest.
