Ironbridge Power Station

The Power Station at Ironbridge. This is scheduled to be closed down and demolished, except for one chimney which is listed. This is an extraordinary location, an 18th Century hamlet in a deep gorge on the River Severn, once a centre for the iron industry at the beginning of the industrial revolution, now a world heritage site.
