You know the Saturday drill by now: swimming, riding, haircuts. Except today the riding was off as it was too cold (frozen ground) and Perth had chosen today as the day to turn on their Christmas lights. And boy, have they gone to town on the entertainments this year including lots of people sculpting ice. This guy was particularly good and had the most lethal looking scraper, a chainsaw, drill/rasp thing and countless other bits to chip away at the huge blocks of ice.
