The Hawthorns

This is the Hawthorns! The holy ground of my team: West Bromwich Albion (the greatest team in the world).

Tonight we were playing Aston Villa in the West Midlands local derby. Although I personally consider Wolves our main rivals because of where I have grown up, Villa is the team my Dad always loves to beat. Problem is we have won just twice in 10 years.

We got off to an awesome start; two goals in the first 10 minutes. Scored brilliantly by the beautiful Shane Long. Great first half, what could possibly go wrong....

At the start of the second half we missed two easy chances to extend the lead and then within minutes found ourselves level due to two poor defensive errors.

Although a point is better than nothing, it does feel like a defeat!
