Sweet...

L-o-n-g-, busy day at work today.

Teaching 3 two hour daytime classes followed by another two hour evening class. One of those things you agree to at the time without actually thinking of the consequences. Should be tired but I find it difficult to switch off when I've been so switched on all day.

The group in the evening seem like a keen and enthusiastic lot (had to type that, might point them in the direction of blipfoto as a homework task so they might see this). Probably one of the most diverse groups too; think there's around sixty years age difference between the youngest and the not-so-youngest member. Looking forward to the next nine weeks with them.

As the light was so good this morning I dragged my first class out with their cameras for a photo walk around the college and an alfresco lesson. Good fun and pretty productive. One of the group spotted these ants going for a big sugar rush on this abandoned sweetie and I thought it was a good opportunity to introduce them to a bit of macro and to show them how to play around with DOF. Plus, it meant I got today's blip in early too.
