Menacing ...

... winged rats swooping around an area of the town centre.

Every day at almost exactly 11:45, hundreds of pigeons converge on Library Gardens in Harrogate and fly around in a huge flock. They are waiting for a misguided individual to bring her shopping trolley full of food to litter the gardens. The mess the birds then make, all around a wide area of the town has to be seen to be believed, to say nothing of the way the birds fly low and sometimes directly into people's heads. This cannot be good for the environment and nor can it be good for these wild birds to become dependent on this particular source of food.

I must apologise to everyone for, yet again, falling behind with my commenting. I will try hard to catch up over the next few days.
