Dissection

A little frost this morning caused me to sample fruit from our orange and grapefruit trees. This is the result shown on the dissecting table.

Grapefruit looked good and was eaten for breakfast; it was still a little tart but ready to become a staple in our diet. Oranges need a little more color and time for more juice to develop; actually they were eaten and tasted good.

Vitamin C needs for the day have been met. Scurvy will not be a problem.
