January February

Black, black as coal,
Dark, so you can’t see,
No light, to shine on me, to shine on me.

Words from an Eighties Barbara Dickson song probably more about the emotional darkness of time spent away from a loved one. It was my sentiment in a much more literal way. It never got bright at all today. I stopped for a dreich road side shot near Glen Finnan on the way home. Long exposures; chefs have cooked steaks for less time than this and all the more time for the drizzle to collect on the lens filter.

Back to Barbara Dickson, I thought her music from around this era was absolutely brilliant.
