Bread

For ages we resisted the idea of a breadmaker. It seemed, somehow, to be cheating - making bread by hand is so connected with virtue. I succumbed however when I found this breadmaker that did, at least, make a loaf that is loaf shaped and for two years we used it every few days and have rarely bought a loaf since we bought it.
Now though it makes me slightly sad to see this nice, fresh, crusty loaf that my husband has made because I can no longer enjoy it. I have discovered I am gluten intolerant and I have yet to find a gluten free bread recipe that is anything like this wheaten beauty.
