Dreich . . .

I wonder how many blips are concerned with, or even just mention in passing, the weather? Just a thought . . . !

Today has been drizzly, very windy, chilly and generally grey all day, not a glimpse of the sun at all. I was working in the shop this morning and had a couple of ladies in from America and Germany. They were very unimpressed with the weather, and the fact that so many places were closed and didn't open again until March! And the fact that there was only one bus an hour didn't go down too well either!

But, to balance things out, some of the BBC Landward team were in too and they were great fun. They'd been filming up here for a Christmas special and were just about to head back south on the ferry. I hope the crossing wasn't too bad - one of them wasn't looking forward to it at all!

Ollie had a wet early morning walk up to the cliffs so this afternoon we just mooched about on the shore and round the old boats. I've blipped this winch before but never mind!
