Liverpool Cathedral Lady Chapel

Spent a lovely day with my brother, who's a talented photographer, taking me to see local sights that I don't know. We went to Port Sunlight on the Wirral - such an attractive and interesting place. There was an excellent exhibition of Burne-Jones drawings in the Lady Lever Gallery. Then we "did" (the Church of England) Liverpool Cathedral. It is ultra-traditional and couldn't be more different from the ultra-modern (Catholic) Metropolitan Cathedral, but both have a lovely atmosphere. This is the oldest part of Liverpool Cathedral consecrated in 1910. It is the Lady Chapel and huge in keeping with the Cathedral being the longest in the world, the largest Anglican church and the fifth largest cathedral in the world!
