I was at an excellent, thought provoking conference today; protecting the public through professional behaviours. Some excellent speakers including the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman who came across as sensible, thoughtful and with the public right at the heart of his thinking. Much to think about.

It's a shame the Cabinet Secretary for Health decided it was an appropriate forum for an SNP party political broadcast combined with a Visit Scotland advert. I wasn't impressed. I heard his predecessor speak at a conference a few years back and I thought she was logical and persuasive (perhaps not surprising given her legal background).
