The last place you want to be if you're a culchie...

Long ago, myself and Rev. Mongo went to watch the third Dublin-Meath replay, armed with 2 tickets for here. This is isn't your "two bunches of Londoners slagging each other while they watch City v United over their prawn sandwiches" sort of grudge. Ajax v Feynoord or Newcastle v Sunderland are possibly the only matches in Europe where it's less safe to be an away fan...

The opening match was Kerry v Meath in the minor football final - the Hill cheered for Kerry. Imagine 20,000 United fans cheering for Liverpool because they're playing City!

Mongo cheered for Meath... I explained that I would be the first one to put the boot in, just so no-one thought I was with him!

Anyway, it's half time!
