Gone

It only took a few days of wind, and almost all the leaves yeaves are gone. The vines have returned to monochrome and the structure is revealed once more.

I'm still coughing and sneezing, but I was going stir crazy staying indoors, so I went out in the car to take photos. I saw a large bird of prey (maybe a buzzard) circling over the vines and occasionally dropping lower, but every time I crept up to it, it flew off, always keeping just out of blip range. The sky was a cloudless blue, so the light was difficult -- I chose this photo for the layers receding into the distance, and the tree silhouettes against the haze. And because all the others were rubbish. It's better large.
