Green Grocer

When I was a kid we used to catch these cicadas and keep them in old shoe boxes. Green grocers were very common but the Black Princes or Pizwackers were highly prized. This one had obviously shed it's shell and was just hardening up on my garden shed before going to make a nuisance of itself somewhere.

The Opening Ceremony rehearsal was cancelled tonight because of the rain but I had a wander over the stadium casing spots for shots. It is a sports stadium and they have turned the change rooms into places for performers to wait. There were women running around with costumes, sound checks going and so on. It was so exciting, can't wait for the full dress rehearsal tomorrow.
