O Solo Meow!

In which Dexter the Tabby sings for his supper . . .

We spent a quiet Thanksgiving at home, enjoying the comforts of heat and light and electricity, and feeling especially grateful.

The day featured cooking (a lovely ham dinner) and baking (one of my famous apple pies, made for Friday's traditional turkey feast with family), and general relaxation.

Now, tabbies are especially fond of ham. And this particular tabby was served some ham, but only after it was fully cooked.

In this photo, it may look like Dexter is singing, but this was actually a mid-yawn shot, after he'd grown bored of watching me make the pie. (Tabbies have absolutely no interest in pie, in my experience.)

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
