Got my new Uncut in today. Great to see they gave album of the year to My Bloody Valentine. Quite right too! Also pleased to see Morrisey on the cover as it's always worth reading what he has to say whether you agree with him or not. Even though I'm a carnivore, I was delighted to see him take a stance on the gluttony of Thanksgiving in the USA and the factory production methods used to fatten up Turkeys. The response from the mainstream US press has been predictable. When faced with an articulate, intelligent human being who has the courage to express a view at odds with the unthinking majority, they turn to ridicule and vitriol. Nothing new to him, tho.
