The Fair's in town .. .. ..

The Fair arrived this afternoon and roads were closed in preparation for a spectcular Christmas lights switch on.
We went out after dark to support the charity stalls and soak up the atmosphere. The young schoolchildren sang carols, the Salvation Army played festive music and traditional carols and the countdown began. What a shame that many of the local charities stalls were conspicous by their absence. We did see two Policemen with legs (not in cars).
We took quite a lot of shots but none of them seemed to capture the atmosphere so we chose this one of the fair setting up earlier in the afternoon.
