Running on empty

I found this old pair of running shoes placed neatly on the side of a country road. Makes me wonder if they were left there intentionally.

I'm going to guess that the owner realized that he or she wouldn't lose 50 pounds in one day, gave up running altogether, and left these shoes on the side of the road to make room in the closet for more zubas. Maybe.

Today can be considered my "day off" from blipfoto. Pressure is undoubtedly mounting.
