Flower Seller

My wife was in charge of decorations for the complex's Thanksgiving meal which, or course, meant flowers. We have a number of florists in town, but I had shot photographs previously at this particular shop during preparations for the Virgin de Guadalupe parades and felt we should contribute to their wellbeing. While it is popular on these pages to showcase vendors in black and white, this young woman's vibrant orange shirt was just too colorful to reduce to monochrome. That and the other colors in the background, though I could have done without the distracting piece of white paper, made full color the obvious choice. The flowers we purchased were augmented with others from around the complex to create five beautiful displays that lent a festive air to our group celebration.
