Happy Birthday Whole Foods / One Proud Hubby!

Well, what an evening! First I need to do a little background to the main event.

Since we moved to Glasgow Jen has been working hard doing something she has always wanted to do – write. Of course she writes about things that she feels passionate about and enjoys. For her (and both of us really) the subject is health and fitness. She has been writing for her own website and using social media to spread her message.

Well, fast forward to Monday and she received a message from the Marketing Team Leader, Emili, at the Whole Foods Market in Glasgow (you all know how much we love Whole Foods!). Emili said how much she enjoyed reading Jen’s blog and would like to personally invite her to Whole Foods Giffnock’s 2nd Birthday Event on Thursday (today)! How fantastic is that! Of course Jen said yes and Emili even kindly added me to the guest list so I could come to. (That’s Emili and Jen in the picture at the bottom by the way!)

I am so so proud of my talented Jen. She has worked damn hard and to get this recognition from a company that we really love is just brilliant. Well done Jen! :-)

All I need to say is we had an amazing time at the birthday party. Ate amazing food and chatted to the wonderful friendly staff (see top picture, big smiles all round!). Just a brilliant night that I will never forget!
