November Leaves

November Leaves

November Leaves (sic) and December nearly begins. It was a lovely crisp, dry and cold day in Hexham. We bought 100Kg of coal, 25Kg of potatoes, an antique coal scuttle, some diced veal and a b ottle of Leffe. Quite a successful day really - polished off by a walk along the lovely river and the railway line that goes to Carlisle.

There were very few people around, just a few 'greyhound type' dogs racing across the golf course, a few lone cyclists and the inevitable 4x4 driving along where it should'nt. Later on, after this blip of M (showing off her new Parka - she will want a Vespa next!) , there was a fantastic sunset to the West, and we had a great view from an old bridge looking up the Tyne.

It is great to get out into the countryside on days like this :)
