just spotted bird of prey over a field stopped the car, crept over to the gate and then the noise, baa and meh from a herd of sheep that was running over to me. birds gone and a swaledale ewe got herself on blip.

the Saturday sports scene saw my partner and me pick up our first winter league victory 2&1 and youngest son unluckily lost 2-0 at football to 2nd place Highgate in the Midland Alliance.

weather was perfect for golf this morning and there was the most gorgeous red sky over the football ground this evening
