A sad day

Today I felt proud to be Glaswegian. I might not live there any more but I will be a Glaswegian until the day I die. Unfortunately that day came too soon for the pilot, police officers and customers who died in last night's tragedy when the police helicopter ploughed into the Clutha bar in Glasgow City centre

Passers by ran towards the scene, not caring for their own safety, only thinking about what they could do to help those inside. Who knows how many lives were saved by people's quick thinking.

It's been difficult to think of much else all day and my thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one and in particular those who have a loved one still missing.
