Christmas Tree Festival 2

Well our Christmas Tree Festival got off to a brilliant start. There were trees made of golf clubs and golf balls, shortbread, pizza dough, recycled material and soft toys. There were trees that spoke of community, friendship and support. It was busy ... people coming and going, people looking and sitting, people eating and buying, people chatting and laughing, people sitting still and remembering. We had live music for most of the day, and people wandered round looking at the trees, which were all round the church, and then they sat for a while enjoying the varied music on offer. All agreeing that there were a lot of creative people involved in pulling it all together. We'll see what tomorrow brings. We'll also hear from the two charities we are supporting at the closing Christmas Concert - Great way to start the Advent Season.
